So are you cleaning house of all your old emotional baggage?  Feeling a little overwhelmed by life and emotions?  Wanting to just hide away in a cozy corner with a book and a bag of M&M's?  Well, maybe it's just me, but it is a BIG time right now. 

Breathing helps. 

A little. 

Moving your body, stretching, walking helps. 
 
A little. 

But mostly the best thing to do is just be. 

Sit. 

Go within. 

Don't think.  Do "try" to connect within yourself.  Just allow yourself to move into a space of the loveliness that you are.  It's there, but it might be a little tricky to find. 

But you'll get there.

Generosity inhabits our hearts. We want to share our good fortune and even the things we may think we don’t have. We could discover resources in the form of ideas, projects, associations with others that we never suspected were there for the taking. We are inspired by the magic that we are creating with others and within ourselves, discovering the beauty of just being, moment to moment.

Our words, our thoughts carry more weight than ever before. We need to focus on all things in a positive manner, thus creating the outcome we want. We are now CREATORS!!! Let us not underestimate the intensity of our ability to turn things around not just for ourselves, but for others as well.

We are freeing ourselves from limited/limiting beliefs/circumstances. We are opening new windows in our lives, finding doors we never even knew existed…. We are discovering just how powerful we are when we are positive and happy, focused on the best possible outcome.

The chart of this solstice is extraordinary. Let us celebrate it by starting a journal in which we do not passively express what has happened to us during the day, but what we want to see manifest in our lives, in the present tense. We’ll be amazed at how easy it is to dream a whole new world into reality!

It's been a helpful reminder that I am not alone and my family is not alone.

My mom starts chemo treatments tomorrow.  It's not a new road, she's beat breast cancer previously, but it's still a shock.  We are preparing for an EASY journey with lots of laughter and nurturing things.  Unfortunately it probably doesn't include chocolate.  A new diet for health and immune-boosting is in the works.  Anyhow, we so appreciate any prayers and healing, as she knows it works and is deeply grateful.

Holiday Blessings to you all!

In this season of gift giving, holiday parties, family gatherings, there are other transitions happening. Energetically (on some level) we are wrapping up loose ends, completing old projects, and closing doors. It is happening in a myriad of ways ... health issues, jobs, new homes, or emotional clearing or physically clearing your space. Most of us don't have a clue about what the new might be yet, but TRUST that it is there soon.

As of December 31 I will no longer be at the office in Burnsville.

It is an exciting, yet slightly sad change (I have been in that building for a few years), but I know it is going to allow me to create new things and find new doors opening. No worries, Kathy, Pam, and I are still on great terms and will no doubt still be working together in some format. I am continuing on with the same work as always, but for now will be offering sessions and shopping appointments at my home office in St Paul near Como Park. There are a few new possibilities in the works also, including writing, travelling to other locations for sessions and gift sales, and more.

I so THANK YOU all for the years of support at the Burnsville location, for without you it would not have been possible. I am grateful for every experience and am looking forward to serving you in NEW ways!

Stuff

Ahhh how lovely to do nothing and then rest afterwards.

It's been a busy week, and bound to be another busy week.  Thanks to everyone who has commented on my updated blogging streak, I am grateful you are reading even if I am snarky (ie last weekend).  Shifting and processing through stuff is pretty standard these days, and I find it helpful to write to move through it.  And I know it will help *some*one along the way too.  Life has just dealt some snarky experiences lately, I am not always snarky.

[Okay I am over using the word snarky now, I just like it.  It's a cool word.]

Quick updates about why I am snarky (ha!):

• I am moving out of my office at the end of the month.  It's a good thing, it's been coming for a long time, my friendships with office partners are intact.  But it is still a little hard to release something you have had for so long when you don't know what is next.  Still some details to work out.

• I don't know what is next.

• My mom was diagnosed with lymphoma in her spleen last week.  It's been a month of tests and wondering and befuddlement because there were no symptoms.  But it is a stage one, highly treatable cancer and we will be kicking it's butt with positive attitudes and laughter.  Conversation today as mom is typing an email to someone:  "What do I have again?"  "Uhhh... CANCER!"  Of course she meant what type of lymphoma with medical terms, but we are rather light-hearted about things.  Makes it all easier.  She most likely will start chemo this week.  Yep, right before the holidays.  But she kicked breast cancer 17 years ago, she will do it again. 
  

• We also found out this past week that another family member has cancer (she's my age), another friend is diabetic, another relative is diabetic, a friend's young (22?) daughter has early stages breast cancer, a friend's dog almost died, another friend had a car accident, a good friend's mom had a stroke, yet another friend's stove blew out .....  yeah, it's just everywhere.

• Been crying at the drop of a hat lately.  Every little thing makes me tear up.  Scary things and good things.  Songs.  Commercials.  Beautiful lakes.

So there's the scoops.  I wanted everyone to know before I start spilling info and forget to tell you certain things.

On much happier notes:

• I am so grateful for the Boutique yesterday!  So much fun.
• Christmas is almost here!  (Even though I just started shopping, but hello, I get to buy FAIRY stuff for my 3.5 year old niece!!)
• I have fantastic friends.  But I miss them.
• I am breathing deeper.

Life IS good.

As I am sitting here at my quiet office, I heard a small voice within say, "It's time to take yourself out of the world so that you can create a new one."

Hmph.

Well.

Guess that's an easy task. :/

But it fits and is timely. Letting go of so many things, dealing with health issues in my family, feeling like I don't want to DO anything, I just want to BE .... it's all the start of the end. Or wait, is that the endings before the beginnings? No matter, it's all the same and it's all GOOD.

I am so grateful!

This journey is amazing even though it's a challenge some days.

Did I mention ...

...the part about feeling like you are starting back at "square one"? (What does that phrase mean anyhow?) Like after everything has been stripped away (as many of us - me included - have gone through this year) you are left with nothing and not sure where to go next? It feels like starting all over again, way back when I first started doing energy healing and selling rocks. I don't like it. It's uncomfortable and out of my "zone". The work put into my business for 8+ years suddenly feels null and void, and honestly, some days, I am not sure if I should keep going or just give it all up and get a boring 9-5 job. Did I really spend all that time so that I can just throw it away? This new space of "beginnings" is for a purpose, it has to be, right?

We have to be clear of everything - E V E R Y T H I N G - that holds us back, that doesn't serve us, that does not bring us JOY and LIFE. When we get to that point, we can CREATE what we want, how we want it, when we want it (now please!), and it is going to be BLISS.

Or something.

It doesn't mean it's not a challenge.

This journey of "ascension" or transformation we are on has not been easy. But we are trying to cram so many lifetimes of issues and karma and clearing into ONE lifetime that it gets a little overwhelming. It gives me great peace to know that not only am I not alone in this -- yeah, I see you there, in the pink sweater and curlers in your hair... I know YOU'RE going through it too -- and that some day we will just laugh at all this. But I keep reminding myself it is ALL GOOD and really, it does feel good in some odd way. I love this journey and would not trade it. Well, most of it.

So yes, personally, I have let a lot of things go (and remind me to blog later about the difference between releasing, surrendering, and letting go) this year and am still in that process. And I am grateful to be free from a few things. It is all going to bring in NEW things that have not been revealed yet and I have no glimpse of (frustrating for my Aries "I need the whole plan" self) just yet. I am opening myself up to the new after I have let go of teaching classes, doing expo's, and now having a committed office. It's a little scary, but I am TRUSTING the guidance and having FAITH that it is all part of a divine scheme to get me to step up into my higher self and truly be ME.


Part Two:

Decision making is not happening right now. UGH. Can we please get to a place where I can PLAN something more than a day ahead of time? Oh wait, but before that can happen I actually have to DECIDE what I want. I have not been able to make clear concise decisions, which are usually easy and clear for me, to save my life. (Again, where does that phrase come from?) From really simple things like where we should go for dinner to really big life-changing decisions like my office.

Example... last night I suddenly got the urge in my whole BEING to be on the North Shore in Grand Marais (for you non-Minnesota people, this is way far northern MN along Lake Superior, about as far as you can go without hitting Canada) like NOW. I could not wait a mere WEEK. Or could I? I don't know, I can't decide. So let me text my friends and ask, "6th or 13th?" Both said 13th. I chose the 6th simply because I could not stand NOT making a decision any longer. I have been wanting to get up here (I am here now) since July. Alone. To just breathe and be and go IN. And to eat Sven & Ole's pizza and walk the frozen beach (it is SO much easier when the rocks don't move! LOL). Anyhow, once I made the decision and was on the road this morning, I felt so much lighter and happier. And then seeing the water this afternoon I started breathing deeper, and now tonight there is a stunning PINK ring around the moon that is rising above the lake right outside my window.

It's heaven.

So why did it take me so freakin' long to get to the decision?

On that note, enough blabbering. Please know I am NOT complaining about my life or what's happening. I am grateful for it ALL and happy to share the joys and challenges with you. Right now it's just more challenges. That could totally change tomorrow. I hope YOU are moving right along with me.

Current Shifting

Hello Shifting! Are you experiencing "stuff"? Life changes? Welcome to Now. The past few weeks have been a rollercoaster YET again. Does it ever stop? I am not sure, to be quite honest.

Here are a few thoughts about what I'm noticing from my own life, friends, and clients:

~There are OLD emotions, situations, thoughts, etc, coming up. Big time. Things you *really* thought you were done with a long time ago are resurfacing. It's best not to resist it. Just go with the flow, look at it in a new way, and clear it in whatever way you can. Closure and tying up loose ends is a theme, and it is simply so that we can move on to a higher place without much baggage.

~TIME is funky. See yesterday's blog. It is basically disappearing. Other dimensions of reality are opening up. More about this will be revealed in the next few months.

~HEALTH. People are experiencing MAJOR health issues, either personally or they have someone in their life who is dealing with new, sometimes unexplainable, physical health symptoms that require medical care. It is related to old things that need to be released. Just take it day by day and breathe and know that it will be resolved with vibrant health and light.

~People are dying. Lots of people are choosing to pass over right now.

~It's a challenge to be around other people. It might be hard to leave your own little circle of your Self, since that is what feels safest right now. Feeling out of sorts or really cranky at other people? Even though we have families, friends, coworkers, etc, that demand our attention or time, taking as much space for yourself as you can is helpful. It is a good time to go within for some answers that you may need.

~PLANNING anything is hard. It's a time to very much be in the moment, and planning things out further than a day or two just doesn't work. We need to be very present and go with what feels good in each moment.

Remedies that can help right now:

Sleep. Lots of rest.
Breathing. Deeply.
Just BEING. Step out of DOING for a bit.
Eating fresh greens and juices.
Despite what's listed earlier, MOVE your body. Walking, yoga, stretching, whatever gives you joy and is easiest for you.

HOPEFULLY a lot of this is already shifting out so that we can enjoy the holidays and not be crabbypants.

The Now of Random Thoughts

Where does the time go? Really. I mean, seriously, how can it be that it is already December 4, 2009?! I just do not understand. This whole TIME thing is just really throwing me for a loop these days. And then there is the BENDING thing. What happened yesterday afternoon seems like 3 months ago, and then something I did THIS morning seems like 2 days ago. And yet, there are times when I fall asleep around 10:30 pm, sleep so soundly, then wake up thinking it must be close to sunrise, I will glance at the clock and it's only 11:28 pm. HOW does that happen?

*sigh*

Which leads me to blogging. The whole TIME thing has just thrown my love of blogging out the window, because I do not have TIME for it. Or something. I am partially just lazy too. And then there are BIG, cool, awesome or even challenging moments or experiences I know I should blog about because someone out there will 1) get a kick out of it or 2) find some meaning and strength in it and know they aren't alone in these goofy times we are living in right now. Well, most of the time, those are the moments that I am just to friggin' tired to get to my computer and click on one little button before I start typing. Silly. But totally true. And I feel bad.

I think there is a new dis-ease called Blogger Guilt. And I have it. I mean, hello, I READ blogs every day, I use and adore google reader to keep them all in one happy spot, and I find so much information and inspiration from them all. I even started thinking last week that I want to become the Pioneer Woman for the spirituality/transformation/ascension/metaphysical/holisticblahblahblah field. That woman rocks it. She is inspiring and adorable, and she has a freakin' amazing website and book. And if I want to be like her, I guess I'd have to blog more, wouldn't I? I have people left and right and upside down telling me that I need to WRITE more. "Where is that book you're writing? Why don't you write about that amazing healing session you had with your client? You need to write just for the sake of writing." Over and over and over and I still don't DO it.

But this is my attempt. And I probably sound like a complete babbling idiot. But ask me if I care! LOL

And yes, this is the start of a whole new blog series to come! Whoo hoo!

What I had *intended* to blog about as I started typing just now, which I had mentioned to a friend this morning to make me more accountable, is that the energies we are in right now are massive. As in MASSIVE. Are you feeling it?

Happy Thanksgiving

As so much is swirling around me - family, health, business - I am always SO grateful for this experience and what is Right Now. It's a challenging time on so many levels. Life can be chaos. But there is so much richness and growth in it ALL that I can't help but be grateful every single day.

I'm grateful for the friends that listen to me even when I am in tears or when I am pissed beyond belief while spewing expletives that don't usually come from my mouth.

I'm grateful for the small giggle from my niece while she's curled up in an odd corner by a cabinet licking the salt off of crackers directly from a bag (minus the box). I'm grateful she doesn't put them back in the bag.

I'm grateful for my cat who after 17+ years suddenly insists on lying right by my heart when I crawl into bed even if I can't see the book I am reading.

I'm grateful for the focus and patience of my nephew as he spends 3 hours putting together a k-nex car, and equally grateful for his twin who simply watches, hands him pieces, enjoys watching him, and keeps telling him he's doing great.

I'm grateful for the awesome songs on the Current that keep me motivated.

I am so grateful for the work that I am able to offer to people who are feeling whacked out and crazy, because I have so been there, and for the guidance that is always present even when I feel like it's gone.

I am grateful for words that flow and the faithful readers of this blog.

And I could go on and on and on, but there just isn't space.

Here's to a Happy Thanksgiving with your loved one's and continued blogging! ;)

October Newsletter

what I know about "ascension" right now

Are you still with us? Did the summer just fly by for you? And did you feel like you were on a rollercoaster ride. (I want to say “between heaven and hell”, but I do understand it’s not that dramatic for everyone.)

Here is what I know about the energies of the past 3 to 6 months:

• It’s wacky.
• It's rought
• Everyone is feeling it to some degree, whether they are on a spiritual path or not. Just look at the crumbling structures and institutions.
• We are being asked even more to release what doesn’t serve our highest good anymore, even if we think we’ve already released so much crap that there is nothing left to release.
• You cannot hide anything anymore. Old issues, secrets, manipulations, are not tolerated and will force you to be truthful to your core.
  
• The resistance from those in a “3-D” reality might be harder to deal with if you are in touch with a deeper meaning to life.
• We need to LOVE OURSELVES UNCONDITIONALLY.
• We need to LOVE OURSELVES.
• We need to LOVE.
• Keep breathing.
  
• Reality changes all the time. What is true today might not be tomorrow.
• The veil is getting thinner and thinner all the time.
• There is SO MUCH SUPPORT available all around.
  
• Our physical bodies need LOTS of support through healthy green fresh foods, movement, and wellness.
• You are not being selfish by wanting to take care of YOU and your body.
• You DESERVE to take care of YOU.
• Your body WANTS you to take care of YOU.
• But if you still want to drink coffee/do shots of tequila/smoke/inhale a chocolate cake, it's okay and you will not go to hell.
  
• The connections of the heart and spirit (whether in person or with non-physical beings) are getting stronger and we are finding more of our “tribe.” The heart connections really “work” and feel GREAT; those that don’t “work” are going to struggle and be painful and it is okay to let it go.
• Keep Breathing.
  
• It is okay to not feel accountable to timelines and deadlines (unless it is truly necessary for your “job” or family), and to move into the flow of what and when it feels good.
• The old addage "Either sh*t or get off the pot" applies. Meaning get on your path, do what makes you happy and gives you joy, do what fills your inner well with light and love. It's time.
• The balance between "oh today is a crap day" and "oh my god I love my life" happens constantly, and you do not need medication.
• We are DONE with struggle, pain, surviving, fear.
• You are SO LOVED.
• Keep breathing.
  
• We ALL deserve what fills us with light, love, abundance, joy, peace, contentment, and flow.
  
• You do not need to feel guilty about any of this.
• There is various TIMING for everyone.
• If none of this makes sense to you, GOOD FOR YOU and bring us whatever you're drinking.

Did you survive the Solstice energies? It's been a doozy of a few weeks energetically, so up and down of feeling great one day then nasty tired and cranky the next. Okay maybe that's just me. It has been better for me since Solstice, I seemed to move through it the first part of June. Everyone's timing is different, as are "symptoms". This is a time when I am hearing from a lot of people about being reeeeeealllly tired (naps are good), feeling like everything is being stripped away from us (even if we asked for it), our bodies are going through a major 'upgrade' of wanting more health, we can feel something new, creative, and amazing coming soon, but we have no clue what it is, so in the meantime we feel a need to just step back to reevaluate what gives us life and "juice" and what doesn't (then hopefully letting go of what doesn't give us joy).

Part of my own personal process has been so deep and wide that I haven't been able to do some of the things that I normally love to do. I have just had to STOP everything, including exhibiting at expo's (for now, am returning in a new form soon), classes, webcasts, blogging, etc, and have found myself doing more BEING, visiting with friends, travelling to new places (physically and internally!), and just doing what feels GOOD right NOW, instead of what my brain says I should do. It's a challenge some days, but it feels great. There are new creative jucies just under the surface ready to pop out soon in new glorious ways, so my intent is to share here more often, even if just a few lines. We all need support and our personal stories can be so helpful.

Aligning Energies

Are you feeling a little wacked out lately? Welcome to the club! These pre-Solstice energies are feeling a bit intense, to which I can personally attest. We're preparing on many levels for new things to come in, whether that is a new job, a new relationship, or just a new state of being. To me it feels like we are crawling through the deepest darkest tunnel, trying to squeeze through while carrying absolutely everything we ARE, which is not an easy task, and the tunnel keeps getting smaller and smaller. Once we realize we can let go of the burdens we're carrying that no longer serve us, we will pop through the other side into a vast glorious garden of living thriving LIFE and LIGHT. And it's coming soon. After the Solstice things will lighten up a great deal. It's different for everyone, but just knowing you're not alone helps a great deal.

While all this shifting and releasing has all been happening, I have been experiencing a new level of energy coming in that is still unexplainable but deeply felt. It's aligning your soul with your physical body, bringing in more of YOU so you can be more fully here and thriving. Have you felt like you've been through the ringer lately? Is life seeming to fall apart? Well, you are not alone. There again are so many shifts happening for people right now (yeah yeah, we say that all the time, don't we?), and if you aren't experiencing anything, good for you, you've done your work! What I have been finding with clients and friends (and myself) is that anything related to our worthiness, confidence, and trusting ourselves is coming up to be viewed and acknowledged. We are getting to really deep core issues that are holding us back, and the energies are supportive to release them with ease if you allow it. Once we get through it, the clarity and creative juices are wonderful and we can move foward with more joy and light. There is indeed a light at the end of the tunnel, I promise!

Rose Quartz

At the beginning is love, in the middle is love, at the end is love. Love is the center and the All.

As we begin exploring the energies of crystals and stones, Rose Quartz showed itself as the first offering. Theme’s of various emotional, physical, or spiritual energies tend to change every few weeks or months (noticed in my own life or my community, or just felt in the general consciousness), and many people have been talking about opening their heart more, feeling very connected to the larger Love of the universe, or the opposite of feeling frustrated with themselves or their relationships and experiencing deep emotional purging on many levels.

To me, one can never have too much Rose Quartz. It is a stone that is all about love and staying centered within our hearts. As life throws us challenges, anxiety, chaos, or confusion, Rose Quartz brings us right back to our heart center with a deep breath and a deep hug from the love of the Universe. It relates to the heart chakra, the 4th chakra that deals with our hearts. Our heart space is where we are fully connected to ourselves and our spirit. Deep within we know. We feel. As the spirit of the Rose Quartz stated, Love is All and is the Oneness that we strive for as humans.

Emotionally Rose Quartz opens our hearts to love ourselves and others, to help us feel worthy of the love that we ARE.

Most everyone knows about the beautiful pink Rose Quartz. It’s a member of the Quartz family, its pink coloring created from iron and titanium, which can range from very pale to very rich pink. Unlike its clear quartz counterpart, it actually is rarely found in crystal form, but is a lovely collector’s items when found. The stone is found all over the world in locations such as South Dakota (US), Madagascar, and Brazil.

Emotionally, Rose Quartz opens our hearts to love ourselves and others, to help us feel worthy of the love that we ARE. Acceptance of this all-encompassing love is what brings us to true freedom and joy! Faith and Courage in Times of Change

We have had an important outer space visitation by a new comet recently. The comet Lulin has made its closest appearance to the Earth on Feb. 24th. The comet is said to have a green gaseous atmosphere, and is apparently traveling in a backwards motion, completely opposite from the planets. In mid- February it was conjunct Saturn and opposing Uranus. Both of theseplanets are important in their own opposition during the 2008-2010 time period, as they continue to create a pull between the old ways and the new, all the while encouraging the wise use of discipline and moderation as we transition into the new.

Comet Lulin was discovered in July of 2007 by two astronomers collaborating, one of Chinese origin and the other Taiwanese. This symbology speaks to me of the need for collaboration among all as we approach the new world we are creating jointly. The green color of the comet signifies the heart chakra, and tells us that humanity will begin to lead with their hearts, choosing that which supports the whole, not just the few. By leading with our hearts, we can merge opposing forces, and peace and cooperation can become the new buzz word in the Age of Aquarius.

This is interesting to me, especially because I have an inner planes connection (and an ordinary reality one as well) with a man halfway across the world. He embodies the essence of Saturn (wise, responsible, disciplined) and I embody the essence of the planet Uranus (sudden change, new thoughts at lightening speed, intuition). We have had an amazing and miraculous long distance relationship, which has led to great change for both of us. We have come to know and understand some great differences in our backgrounds and experience. There have been so many spiritual gifts and lessons throughout our connection, that I plan to write a book about my own experiences. Recently my guidance informed me, that since our Divine Selves (my friend's and my own) have merged as one, we are assisting the planet by having laid the energetic pathway of the joining and cooperation among these opposing forces (the Saturn, Uranus opposition). The end result will be the unification and opening into Oneness, from diverging spectrums of experience, using the best each of these planets (energies) has to offer, on the way to resolution.

I find it most important at this time, that we each realize that we are connected in Oneness, through the "field" which many physicists write about. This field contains all of the thoughts from every person on earth. And when many of us are thinking the same thing, these thoughts become the dominant consciousness that is then spread around the world. It is only when we decide to make these thoughts become high and empowering, that we can shift the consciousness of the masses to higher levels. I do believe this is happening, with the preponderance of spiritual growth, the world wide popularity of books such as "The Secret" and "What the Bleep", and most recently the election of Obama as President of the U.S. (see my February 2009 musing labeled "Hope").

So, my plea to each of you is; let us all raise our consciousness of each and every thought, word and deed sent out into this field; and let us together, raise it even higher, through faith, knowing without a doubt, that the challenges which are befalling humanity at this time, are for the betterment of us all. It is only through seeing that our security does not lie in the material world, but rather in the spiritual connections and growth, which are being offered through these times of chaos and change, that we will move forward into our new world of peace and prosperity for all. As Jesus said, "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth...but lay up your treasures in Heaven.... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.... Matt.:19-23

Again, it is each of our duties to have faith, that all is in Divine Order. In this process of change, add only the highest words and thoughts to the "field", knowing that this is your contribution to the whole. Everything we say, do, and even think, is recorded for eternity in this field we share. So, please, as you add your contribution, make it a high one.

Very early on in my spiritual path, I had a wonderful and lasting lesson from my dog. My dog chewed up and wrecked some of my "sacred objects", some owl feathers given to me by a friend. I was so angry at my dog, I turned to her and said, "Oh, I wish you were dead!" This dog died within the month, of an enlarged heart. I learned from this dog how much she loved me, to be able to teach me this very important lesson. I felt so very badly that I could have spoken these words in anger, which of course, I did not mean, but as she taught me, could never be retrieved once put out. The field does not know whether we mean the words we speak or not, but it adds to the mosaic under which all of life operates. The greatest each of us can do, then, is to make sure that what we add to the whole, is of the highest and most ethical order.

The full moon on March 10-11 is in Virgo. It is a most important full moon because it is highlighting the Saturn/Uranus opposition, with the Moon conjoining Saturn and the Sun conjoining Uranus. Saturn rules form, Uranus rules breakdown of outmoded structures, freedom and rapid cultural change. This full moon is very powerful, and is highlighting our evolutionary imperative to move forward, embrace our power, and realize our potential. Those people born in the years between 1961-1972, are being given the wake up call to own their power.
March is a month of new beginnings, as the Sun enters Aries at the spring equinox in the Northern hemisphere and the fall equinox in the Southern Hemisphere. The equinoxes are a time, when for a moment, the world is held in equal balance, with day and night being of an equal length of time. The winds of change begin to blow very hard at this time. Aries is symbolized by the ram, with horns that charge forward into the new, butting their heads through any obstructions in the way. It is the sign of leadership, courage, and strength; pioneering us into the new. New seeds for the year are planted, and begin to sprout almost immediately. We are entering a time when we can all write the script for our new lives, and the miracles will continue to grow and expand exponentially throughout the months leading to summer/winter solstice.

With the Aries new moon on March 26th, following the equinox, we get a double blast of that warrior and pioneering energy to move forward into new territory. With Pluto squaring this new moon, and Venus and Mercury as well, we are being encouraged to think outside of the box, release the old emotional baggage that ties us down, not allow it to hold us back any longer, as well as love ourselves in a new way. Pluto will dig deep and show us where we have given up our power, and sold out for less than we deserve, as well as show us what is important to move towards. This is a shift in consciousness and a change in course, and a powerful one at that. Pluto shows us how and where we hold ourselves back through fear, separation and suffering. As Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Faith is taking the whole step, even when you don't see the whole staircase." We are collectively rewriting reality, inventing our new world, and at the same time integrating within and among, the various spiritual and physical dimensions we inhabit. Let's do it well.

distractability

In a lame attempt to combat my distractability today, I thought I would share with you how my day plays out.

Jennifer wakes up, thinks about coffee (first and foremost daily!!) then what needs to get done today. Too long of a list, going back to sleep. Finally getting up, listen to cat fussing for food, make coffee, ignoring cat, get newspaper in darn cold air, telling cat to be patient because he knows the rule is Mom gets Fed First.

Ahhhh coffee.

Feed cat, check email and facebook. Oh yeah I have to feed my Pet Society pet. Check other friends profiles, accept heart from Jane, and oh look its an hour later than I thought.

Remember that I need to put laundry in. Do I go get the laundry, no, I refill my coffee cup and check my business phone for messages. Need to email Matilda about ad rates. Respond to other emails. Yeah there are dirty dishes on my counter too. Start to wash a pot, remember I should put my blockbuster movie in the mailbox to go out. Oh yeah laundry! Walk upstairs, forget why I walked upstairs, so put warm fuzzy socks on instead.

Start on email list update for Whispers, yeah I still haven't emailed Matilda have I? Or called back Jim about the book review and other ideas. Check facebook again, just for a minute. Coffee is kicking in. Start dishwasher and attempt to wash another pot but the phone rings. Wrong number.

Okay back to email list creation, but need to find the notes I'd emailed myself about it 3 days ago. Get 3 paragraphs written, whoo hoo!! Cat is now trying to lay in the sunshine on the table right behind laptop and directly on top of rock boxes. Move boxes.

!!!!!!!!!OOOOOOOOHHHHHHH maybe the rock boxes are why I am so freakin' distracted!!!! I'll move the boxes back to my office downstairs. Phone rings. No I do not need a newspaper subscription. Better wash the bathroom sink before company comes over tonight. Oh yeah and I should figure out what to feed her. Email her about potatoes. I wonder what time my client is at tomorrow. Oh and I need to go out to buy water for mist-making before company comes tonight.

Check facebook again, water my fairy garden plants. Look at rock boxes again, still not moved, maybe I'll just cover them with a tablecloth.

Read blogs. See adorable photo and beaded journal page of my friend Shamballa. You know, maybe I will blog about how distracted I am. And look, I can write it in all one session! LOL
