I arrived! The sun is glorious, the mountains are singing, and there are stones calling to me. After the long day (I am exhausted after getting up and out to the airport at 3:30 am ... don't ask why), I only had time and energy to get to one bead show. Found some beautiful bright rutilated quartz beads (very much harder to find these days for a decent price), ametrine, and black tourmalinated quartz beads. Oh and a gifty for a certain beader extraordinaire friend of mine.
Then hit the grocery store for cheese, crackers, and a salad for dinner at our resort. Bed is the only agenda item left for today. Not terribly exciting, but there is MUCH more to come this week.
